Emotional Awareness and Empowerment Workshop
Have social constructs and the normalization of dysfunctional behavior deprived you of your authenticity? How do we find our truth in a world of alternative facts and deception?
Transforming our lives and the world around us begins with understanding our own emotions and beliefs.
Together, we will examine how social expectations can undermine our emotional authenticity and limit our collective power. Through discussion and support, we will move beyond old patterns, reconnect with our core feelings and values, and identify specific steps to restore authentic relationships—with ourselves, our emotions, and others.
When: Sunday, March 29, 2026, 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Where: Mind and Body Healing Collective, 616 Kentucky Street, Lawrence, KS
What to expect: A safe, open, interactive workshop where you can choose your level of engagement, challenge yourself, and practice authenticity.
What to bring: Water container, snack, yoga mat, paper, writing utensil, and your truth.
Cost: Early Registration (before March 23): $40/person, $65/couple. After March 23: $50/person, $75/couple.

Chainsaw Maintenance and Safety Workshop
This Workshop is designed for anyone interested in becoming more familiar with chainsaw maintenance, light repair, and safety.
The workshop will cover troubleshooting, sharpening, bar maintenance, filter and plug replacement, fuel and oil mixing, and cleaning. Saw use: Safe handling of the saw, binds, basic limbing, and bucking (making a big log into smaller logs).
This is a good place to begin if you’re new to chainsaws or never had any formal training.
A personal saw is not required to take the training, but if you have one, bring it.
What to bring:
Your chainsaw and kit*, fuel, two-stroke oil, and bar oil.
Leather or durable gloves, long pants, boots, eye protection, hearing protection, and chaps if you own them.
Appropriate clothing for the weather, water, snacks, and a lunch.
*Chainsaw kit typically includes (scrench) tool that comes with saw, extra plug and filter, extra chain, sharpening files, and guide).
Where: The Light Center, Baldwin, KS
When: November 9th 2024. 10:00 A.M. to around 4:00 P.M.
Cost: $50.00 $20. deposit required by November 4th to hold space.
The workshop will be limited to 10 participants.
